The Pixel Arcana website serves as a showcase for my resume and computer graphics portfolio, to include 2D and 3D graphics as well as animation.
In addition to promoting my business, I also plan to offer tutorials and other resources in hopes of contributing something useful
to the web's computer graphics community. I've spent years learning from other artists on the Internet, and now I want to give something

Pixel Arcana is owned and operated by Helen E. H. Madden. Ms. Madden received a B.A. degree in Communication from Virginia Tech in 1991 and a
M.S. degree in Corporate and Professional Communication from Radford University in 1999. Over the past ten
years, she has been involved with computer graphics in a wide variety of settings - from developing interactive
computer training at Radford University to designing multimedia presentations and brochures for the U.S. Air Force.
Her professional experience includes the following graphics and multimedia programs:

Helen has previously worked as a graphic illustrator at Langley Air Force Base where she developed briefings for general officers. She has also
worked as an advertising representative for local newspapers, and develops web entertainment sites for all audiences. She creates
and maintains her own web pages, and has also written HTML for other projects. In addition, she produces Flash animated cartoons.
Currently, she works as a freelance graphic artist and web designer. A sample portfolio of her work is available on the Galleries
